Transportation Upon Arrival
Upon your arrival at Richmond International Airport, several options for ground transport to the Crowne Plaza are available.
Groome Transportation is continuously available, and you need only stop at the Groome Transportation concierge near baggage claim on the lower level of the terminal to request service. Fees vary according to the number of passengers in a single vehicle. Single passenger rate is approximately $21.50 USD. Four or more passengers in a single Groome transport are eligible for a per passenger rate of $11.00 USD. Private car is $55.00 USD, and private vans are $82.50 USD. Rates are subject to change.
VCU will provide limited shuttle service from the airport to Crowne Plaza on a first come, first served basis. VCU vans can transport a maximum of 10 persons, depending on the amount of luggage each passenger carries. Shuttles will run hourly (schedule to be determined). There is no charge for this service.
Private cabs are available just outside the airport terminal, but their rates are independent, and subject to change.
Once you have arrived at Crowne Plaza, the hotel shuttle is available on a first come, first served basis to transport you to the VCU campus. The hotel does not provide transportation to or from the Richmond Airport.
